Pool Safety in the Backyard
It’s hard to believe it, but summer is going to be here before we know it. Soon you’ll want to spend some time relaxing by the pool recharging your mental batteries.
It may seem like common sense, but I think the most important aspect of owning a pool should be POOL SAFETY.
I always make it a point to talk to folks who are considering building a pool, that they can’t pay too much attention to Safety.
Several online sources site approx. 3,500 people die each year from accidental drowning in pools, most of which are children.
Here are some helpful things to consider before hitting the water this year.
Pool Myths
ool season will soon be here. With this blog I intend to clear up some common myths about swimming pools. I know all of you don’t own a swimming pool, but I’m sure you have friends, family, or neighbors that do. So I hope you are able to share this with them.
Myth #1 You should run your filter system always at night time.
The truth is the best time to run your filter is during the daytime. This is when it is the hottest and the sun is out. Algae starts to form when the water isn’t circulating. Yes, I understand the electric rates are the lowest at nighttime, but you will spend more than you save trying to clear up a green pool.
